At first the Rangers did a round with Mr. Mohsin [the owner], and they didn't say anything.
But then Musharraf, the committee president, got involved--pointing us out.
We pleaded with the Rangers not to beat people on the factory floor, at the very least.
They didn't listen. They forced us to lie on the floor, hit us on our legs, our feet.
And what did they do to you, specifically?
They got me up from my machine, told me to stand in the 'murgha' position (i.e., grab your ears through your legs)
They could have asked whether we did anything. But they just went after those Musharraf pointed out.
Look at his injuries.
It's been two days.
No, it's the fifth day.
What did they do to you?
The Rangers told me to stand in the 'murgha' position.
And I told them no, I told them to listen to me--but they didn't.
First, the owner came with the Rangers, nothing happened.
But then Musharraf returned with them, and pointed me out.
How many people were pointed out with you?
Four. We said tell the Rangers to leave, and we'll tell you what happened in detail.
But they didn't listen, and attacked us instead.
And they hit us even more, outside the factory gates.
How many people were kicked out, in total?
About 18 to 20.
There were about eight of us, getting treatment in the factory's medical area.
The Rangers entered the room--inside the medical area--and told the women to leave.
They gave us letters telling us we were fired.
(Background:) Some 30-40 ladies fainted, when they saw everyone being beaten.
The Rangers didn't ask us anything. As soon as the owner gave the orders to start beating us, they did.
At first we weren't going. We told them to listen.
Fine, if we made a mistake, punish us. But listen first.
They weren't interested. They told us to get out.
We told them no way. We'll die before we leave this factory.
Look at this guy's injuries.
He was unconscious until 9 o'clock, at Jinnah Hospital
When he started bleeding from his face...
When did all this happen?
At 3 o'clock. He didn't wake up till 9.
When he passed out, four guards picked him up and dragged him outside the factory, and left him.
