The Forever Halloween I think is our first album that truly represents and encompasses
our what our abilities are as individuals and a band. For us making a record independently
is really about control. It's a lot more work but we end up enjoying the creative control.
Pun indented it's a barebones kind of effort, hence the skeleton on the cover. To record
Forever Halloween live and do it to tape kind of how they did it in the 70s it was really
awesome and I mean I feeling like this is the way we are going to record from now on.
These four words I was listening to Tom Wade's the Heart of Saturday Night a lot and I was
in my room by my lonesome just kind of a lot weighing on my not only my conscious but my
mind. The song is really about lets just call it a relationship. The song kind of translates
what side of the fence that I sat on and unfortunately is was the side that wasn't in love with the
other person. The Maine began in 2006 we we're only 17 and 17 years old. Garret and our drummer
Patrick were looking for a singer that is where I came in and about three months later
after we had already kind of put up songs online we went on the road and kind of haven't
stopped. For tour dates and stuff we have our website wearethemaine.net to find out
everything about the 8123 tour but fans can a lot of comradely and a lot shenanigans and
just really an earnest good time,
