Hey guys, how's it going? Last time I went from half inch to nine-sixteenths;
this time I'm going from nine-sixteenths to five-eights of an inch. The ones I'm wearing right now... I'll take
these o-rings off
so you can see
properly
right there
you can see that it fits right over the little black
box
but take a plug away you can see that it is nine sixteenths of an inch.
These plugs are
five-eights of an inch
there you go, again, that is five-eights
of an inch.
So I'm just going to jump into i'm not gonna talk about anything else, I'm just gonna
stretch cuz I know that's what you're here for.
This is my five-eighths of an inch, sixteen millimeters taper.
I know some people have this thing against tapers, that it's unhealthy
or
it's bad for the ear.
I really think that comes down to each person individually,
the personal preference and the way their ears and bodies work.
My body and my ears have been fine with tapers, I've been to three-quarters of an
inch, shrunk
right back down to what I thought was zero gauge, and I've been stretching back up
ever since
with tapers, and the occasional dead stretching, but
it has been not problem to my ears, except
with my early stretching when, I wasn't actually ready and I didn't know what I
was doing
because I hadn't done that much research, but now I have, I know that stretching
with tapers for me personally, is good.
I said I wouldn't talk and I did, so the
taper, and I'll just put a little bit of jojoba oil on there
from is again.
So what I normally do is just put it all over there, and then with excess, just put it on my ear a bit.
Oil, for me, helps not only to stretch up with tapers, but also
uh... helps thicken the ear
I think that's how
jojoba oil is supposed to work anyway, it's supposed to thicken the ear.
Anyway, so the stretch. So the fourteen to the sixteen.
Okay, this one
didn't go straight through
like the other ones did
but there was still no pain. If I pull down on my ear value
there's, like, no gap there at all. Here is the first
plug. What I'm gonna do is I'm gonna keep the front o-ring on so I don't have to worry about that
afterwards;
these ones actually do have the groove for the o-ring, so it's not gonna be as difficult as
the other ones
but anyway, all you do is you line it up with the
taper
and then push it through
it goes out the
side
and then you...
where's the other o-ring?
*with a sense of despair* Oh no! It's gone!
*relieved* Oh, there it is.
Then you just take the other o-ring, put it on the back, and
that's one ear done.
sixteen millimeters, five-eighths of an inch.
Now take the other one out.
My o- -- my ha --
Focus.
My fingers are still a little bit slippery, so I will just put
excess on...
jojoba oil on my ear, oo there was a lot on that one.
And this one.
Again, no pain.
But if I
pull it down;
no gap.
So this is probably the last stretch I will do
where there won't be any
pain at all.
Probably going up to three-quarters of an inch, maybe little bit of pain.
I'm assuming, of course.
So, again front o-ring on -
back o-ring off, so you can push it
through
(like) that.
Now you put the back o-ring
on
and that's the
second ear done, so now I'm officially
at five-eighth of an inch, sixteen millimetres.
This time I'm going from five-eighths to -- no
no that's wrong.
You can see that if I pull it down, oops, came out.
That's, okay, try again.
If I pull it d --
Damn it. Come on.
