Hey, what you're looking at right here, is a slick little business machine,
the ThinkCentre Lenovo M57. It's small, it's compact, it's going to fit in any sort of
workplace situation, it'll even be great at home,
and it's incredibly easy to open and service, which in a small business environment,
is very important. Because if a machine goes down it needs to be easy to fix.
And, this is very easy to fix. In fact I'll show you how easy in just a little while here
First of all, it does have an Intel Core 2 Duo processor onboard.
It's the E6550, and that's running at 2.33 GHz.
It's got 1 'Gig' of DDR2 RAM, Vista Business is pre-installed, it has an 80 GB hard drive,
it does have integrated Intel graphics, it's got the GMA 3100 integrated graphics chipset,
Gigabit LAN, and it does have a DVD-ROM, and a CD RW.
Maybe you decide you want a DVD RW, it's very easy to upgrade.
So let me go ahead and show you around. First of all this is the keyboard, mouse,
very nice keyboard and mouse, very basic, no media controls but all of the keys
that you need to get business done, and of course very nice Lenovo Optical Mouse,
as well. So let me go ahead and show you this machine, 'cause it's cool.
It's a very nice design, and it's also incredibly small.
Look how small this is. This is the entire system. It does come with that stand,
so it can be oriented either horizontally or vertically.
And this is upfront, all you're going to find really, is a couple of USB ports,
headphone and microphone ports right there. You do have your Power button
and Reset button right up here, and... Actually it's just a power button,
there's no reset button, I was just kidding. And also you have your CD ROM,
and DVD ROM located right here. Around the back, is where you're going to find
all of your ports. You do have room for expansion, this is actually
an expansion slot. You also have Line In, Line Out. You've got your USB ports,
you've got an eSATA port, there's your Gigabit Ethernet,
you also have a Serial port, a Parallele port, a VGA port,
and a couple more USB ports over there for good measure. Now,
when you want to get inside this particular system to fix up and to upgrade something
it's very, very easy. There are 2 buttons, on the other side located right here,
and right here. If you push these buttons in it will lift up,
you're immediately granted access to the innards of this machine.
As you can see, judging from this angle, nothing's very accessible, right?
Maybe just the hard drive. If you need to get into more of the system,
you simply pull this 'Chasy' up here, and you're able to get to everything,
in the case. So you can see, right here we do have one of our DDR2 RAM slots
being used right now, room to expand to one more. Down here is your processor of course,
down below that is a Riser card for your PCI Express, located right there.
And your hard drive and your optical drive are all located over here. Now if you want to
upgrade your optical drive, now it does have a DVD ROM and a CD RW.
If you want to upgrade this, you simply snap this over right here,
and you can very easily pop this drive out and replace it with whatever you want,
as long as it is the right form factor. So as you can see, this system is extremely easy
to take care of. Very easy to upgrade, very easy to maintain, very small,
very powerful Core 2 Duo, 2.3 GHz processor onboard here.
So even though it's small, and even though it's compact, it's still going to be
very easy to integrate into your office environment,
or it'll be a great extra computer at home possibly. So get check this one out.
