Being an Ambassador means that I represent my country,
and I get to share my culture
with other people from all over the world
and means to me having friends
from way different parts of the world
and connecting.
Its all about team work.
I love the fact that we have to
organise and schedule everything according to what
we could do of our talents and stuff
and we get everything done.
I decided to become an Ambassador
a year ago, last summer,
because I was hoping to be a part of EF again.
We have a lot of activities like
you know, facing a public situation
like public fairs or expo
and we had a seminar too
and it was really good because we can
motivate a lot of students in Indonesia
to go travel abroad and learn a new language.
Its not always sharing your experience,
but also you can earn points by that.
There are gift cards which I use sometimes for shopping
and I also got an iPod and iPad
which is really really cool,
so I'm aiming now for an Apple T.V
and I also got to go to the Ambassador meeting in Zurich,
and now on a road show.
The experience of EF Ambassador Tour,
its a lot of fun.
We've travelling, road trip, we learn a lot,
learn a lot.
And especially when you meet students,
they are very very passionate about EF Ambassador.
You know, tell them story, what is the programme,
what we are doing to you,
they are really excited about it and I'm so happy.
Big success of the tour.
We are also in touch with them like in the school.
We join every party, we join every lunch they have
and also we have fun, of course
we went to a great restaurant,
and had dinner on the cruise,
its a lot of fun.
I remember the time we went to Santa Barbara,
there was a really nice restaurant, it was right in front of the shore,
and the sunset was like, it was so beautiful
and me and Ayu were just laughing
Everybody was dancing like crazy
cheering for this important day in the USA.
I would advise other students to become EF Ambassadors
because its not only about the points,
but its about other things you can get
either work experience, more experience like even in life
and you can meet a lot of different people,
and you can also, you know, have the experience
of travelling the world, who doesn't want to do that?
