Mind your marbles is an amazing trivia game created by Peggy Brown. It incorporates elements
of traditional trivia games that are going to challenge your recall skills and your declarative
memory, but there are also some other elements that are even more challenging that are going
to focus on short term and long term memory, as well as attention and focus. On your turn
you are going to spin the spinner and it will select three categories for you. Those three
categories correspond to questions on the question card. You have to listen to all three
of the questions before you're allowed to start your answer and you have to give your
answers in the exact order that the questions were read to you. In addition to this while
you're trying to think of your answer and give your answer, as a sort of time keeper
the other players are reading off the letters from a phrase card--"remember and don't forget"
is an example. They are reading off the letters r e m e m the whole time you are trying to
think of your answers. If you give your answers correct you get to place a marble on the category
on your brain card and the first person to fill up their brain card is the winner. So
if you want a fun and challenging game for memory play mind your marbles.
