So this is our Single Breasted Raincoat.
Rob and I were kind of discussing iconic British
outerwear pieces and kind of what would be the best ones that we should put into the collection.
And we kind of came across this image of this other great British icon,
Michael Caine. And there's this great picture of him looking super handsome
as Harry Palmer in the Ipcress Files. Super, super cool.
And it led us perfectly into developing
this guy here. Single breasted, as I mentioned.
He's got this lovely dramatic, really handsome collar here,
that flips up it's going to protect you from the elements.
And then there's a throat guard which buttons onto the inside of the facing,
and that will then button onto your collar,
like so. And that's going to kind of
shield you from the great British elements. It's belted through the middle.
You've got the two flap pockets at the hip
and then you've got the latches at the sleeve there
to kind of cinch it in. The pockets themselves are constructed in, as a
Piccadilly pocket, which basically means that you can
enter them from the outside and also from the inside. So again it's great for security.
And if I kind of just unbelt it here,
and unbutton it,
you'll see kind of when we get to the insides it's got this beautiful
heritage check to the inside. It's got a bit of a vintage feel but without being retro
(and the latch as well). And you can see
just in there, there's that lovely, really subtle check.
You can see there's the second entrance to the Piccadilly pocket there.
It's just a real true iconic men's rainwear piece.
