Hey everyone and thanks for watching 3dmotive.com.
This is Justin and in this course we're gonna be learning how to create
and setup our own tesla cannon weapon here inside of UDK.
Tasks in this course range anywhere from creating the weapon rig
to setting up the skel mesh in UDK, to creating any necessary
script files required to get the weapon functional and display in the custom effects
we've already created for this course. With that said, it's advised that viewers at least
have a beginner to intermediate understanding of Maya with an understanding of how
to setup basic rigs and export files. And an intermediate understanding of
UDK with familiarity in importing skel meshes and creating
anim sets and, let's say, hooking up materials as well. And a beginner to
intermediate understanding of the Unreal Script language as we will be creating some
new Unreal Script files that are required to get everything hooked up and functional
inside of the game. Alright, it's a little bit to cover so let's go ahead and get started.
