With the 2.93 update, you can now access Enterprise CRM and Direct Marketing directly from a web browser.
For this video, let’s look at the new and enhanced features that this experience provides.
Before this update, you accessed the program through a utility running on a Microsoft Windows operating system.
Now, you can use a web browser such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Safari, on any operating system.
All you have to do is open a browser and type in your URL. You can even bookmark the page for easy access.
Since you now access the program through a web browser,
we recommend you adjust your browser’s settings as necessary for an optimal experience.
For example, the number of toolbars and the zoom setting of your browser can determine the area available for the program to appear.
You can also configure whether the browser opens new windows as tabs, which determines how the help file opens.
Now let’s look at some of the flexibility and navigation enhancements within the program.
You can now quickly access recently viewed pages and records and recently performed searches,
complete with the search criteria used.
When you perform searches, you can now quickly access or select a record from the search results.
Since each row in the results is a link to its record, you simply click its row to view or select the record.
With the new top navigation, you can quickly access pages and tasks through fly-out menus.
Depending on your system role, you can now access the Welcome menu to change your password, unlock optional modules,
or run the program as another user.
You can use the search to quickly find a specific record, such as a constituent or revenue transaction.
You can also quickly add new constituent or revenue records from anywhere in the program.
To quickly access the help file or view information about your version of the program, you can also quickly access the Help menu.
Another great benefit of accessing the program through a web browser is the native spell check support available in many browsers.
It’s automatically available in the latest versions of some browsers, like Firefox. In others, you get this functionality with an add-on.
That’s it for this session. Thanks for watching!
