Hey, you know, one of the most common Emails we get here is,
how to build a really great gaming computer
and spend as little money as possible.
And, you know, it can be kind of confusing,
especially when you start browsing websites,
putting parts together, trying to figure out what's going to give you
the most *** for the buck.
Well, the folks at Maximum PC Magazine, recently did an article about
how to build a kickass $500 gaming PC.
And it was all based around Ply and Crysis. OK?
And, of course, Crysis is still one of the most graphically intensive games
that you can find on the market today.
So, it's sort of the benchmark, if your computer can play Crysis,
it can probably play everything else.
So, they've put together a great computer for less than $500,
gave the instructions on how to build it, did the entire deal.
And we'd looked at this article, and we were like,
well gosh, we can do it even cheaper than that.
We were able to put together, basically the exact same computer
that the folks at Maximum PC put together,
but we're going to save you like another $30.
$469.99 for a Crysis capable computer, that's going to play your games
extraordinarily fast. We're talking at 1280 x 1024,
44 frames per second in Crysis. And if you crank it up
to 1900 x 1200, 36 frames per second in Crysis, or up to that.
So let me go ahead and give you the parts that you're going to need to do this,
because it's incredibly inexpensive. For just $469.99, after rebate,
you gotta pick up the Gigabyte EP43 UD3L Motherboard.
Now this is actually different than the motherboard that is in
the Maximum PC article. They actually have an MSI motherboard in their,
in that package they put together. This Gigabyte Motherboard is actually
a better motherboard for you. You can also have the Intel Pentium Dual Core
E5200 Processor, is going to be your processor in this bundle.
Very fast. Not a Core 2 Duo, but still a processor that's plenty fast
for all of your gaming needs.
You've got 4 GB of Patriot PC6400 DDR2 memory,
that's 800 MHz memory, very, very fast.
You've got a super multi DVD writer from LG.
You've got a Western Digital Caviar 320 GB hard drive.
So you've got tons of hard drive space.
And of course, the one component that makes almost all the difference
when you're putting together a gaming PC is the video card.
And we've got the Sapphire Radeon HD 4870 video card
in this system, with 512 MB of RAM.
And also, in the bundle that we've put together,
while it is almost exactly the same as the one that Maximum PC put together,
we actually have a better tower, a better case, and a better power supply.
It's the Ultra X-Blaster ATX Mid Case.
And it looks really great. It's all black.
It's going to look really sharp underneath your desk.
And then we also have the Ultra LSP550 550 watt power supply.
So even with that 4870 card in the case, you're still going to have plenty of room
power-wise, to expand if you decide you want to throw in
another one of those cards in there.
So, while Maximum PC was able to put together a really, really awesome
gaming machine for under $500. We've been able to put together
a machine that's just as awesome, for just $469.99 after rebate.
It's going to make your entire life so much simpler.
Actually, building the PC when you get all the parts
is the easy part. The hard part is picking out all the parts before you order it.
And this makes it really, really easy for you.
And just a couple more benchmarks for you so you know how powerful this machine is
when it comes to gaming. Unreal Tournament 3, you're looking at
122 frames per second for Unreal Tournament 3 with this machine.
And of course when you kick it up to Crysis, one of the most demanding games
on the market, under DX9, high quality, 44 frames per second, 1280 x 1024.
So this is going to be a great machine, for just a little bit of money.
This is a machine that, if you bought pre-configured,
would easily cost you well over a thousand dollars.
And you can build it for just $469.99.
Check out this incredible bundle.
