A sexy commercial featuring Scarlett Johansson has been banned from appearing on air during
this week's Super Bowl, but for all the wrong reasons ...
Folks who endured over two hours of Joaquin Phoenix close-ups hoping to see the T&A behind
the sultry-voiced operating system Samantha in Her will be disappointed to discover ScarJo
wasn't the reason behind the commercial's ban.
The ad, released by home soda maker system SodaStream, includes a pointed jab at Coca-Cola
and PepsiCo.
In an interview with USA Today, SodaStream CEO Daniel Birnbaum called out Fox for being
wimps and kowtowing to the demands of the soft drink giants.
Birnbaum said his company has agreed to drop the apparently offensive line because he sees
no other choice.
This isn't the first time the company has landed in hot water for going after Big Soda.
CBS rejected this SodaStream spot intended for last year's Super Bowl because they found
it called out other brands a bit too explicitly.
