Hello my name is Audrey Parramore, thebeadingdr.com, your beading expert and I'm here to show you
how to make a lanyard. I'm actually going to show you how to make a beaded lanyard and
as you can see I have laid out a lanyard using an adventurine stone chip bead. Usually lanyards
are anywhere between 36 inches long to approximately about 40 inches. Your standard one is 36 which
will pretty much fit anybody when wanting a lanyard. You will add your beads to a wire
as these have been added, use tape. I always suggest using the tape to tape one side when
you are adding the beads. Now as you are getting ready to add your piece to the key chain because
you are going to need a key ring to do the lanyard you are going to use another crimp
bead, I will take the tape off, I will add the crimp bead. In doing projects like this
I always add another bead below the crimp bead just for security purposes so your piece
will last. Of course I am going to use the tool to pull the wires and make this easy.
I insert wires around the key ring and then I'm going to bring it right back through the
bead and in the crimp bead. I am going to use my tool, don't be afraid to use your tools
in creating these and then I'm going to give it a nice crimp and mash it with my needle nose used crimping
tool, then clip it and of course, finishing I clip the wires and there you have your beaded
lanyard. Enjoy making your lanyards for friends and family, Audrey Parramore, thebeadingdr.com,
