I'm Renhao Cui and I'm computer science and a senior here. Yeah. (laughs)
Probably like in class, you, in China we don't have a lots of people to just talk to the professor and say whatever is on your mind.
Usually we just sit there and listen to the professor...
But here you can just say anything you want...you can just...suddenly something came up...what's the word...came into your mind
and you can just talk with him. It's more interaction between the professors and the students.
These American students...they're really willing to be your friend.
They don't...probably they just try to maybe...they don't know a lot about your culture.
So sometimes they just try to like respect your culture. They don't want to just suddenly...run to you...
...or say hi or something like that. But you can always try because they're really nice people.
So, it's not how people [think]...you are always staying in a small group with people from one country. It's not the case.
Yeah, definitely. They're really willing to share ideas with you.
They don't actually care if your English is not that good or bad. They...if they can't understand you they will try to.
like, "will you say that again?" Language is just a tool. The thing is the ideas. People just want to know your ideas.
It doesn't matter how your language is...or how good it is. If they can understand you...that's all the things, I think.
Just believe yourself...trust yourself. You can enjoy the life here.
It's like maybe you were thinking that lots of bad things are waiting for you, but...
just trust yourself. Everything will be fine. You can just overcome every challenges you will meet.
