Welcome! I would like to bid you a good evening, or morning, afternoon...
...bird-shaped thing on the calendar, whatever part of the world you're from.
And I'd like to welcome you to
The final chapter, sort of
Of the Infinite Nuzlocke.
On our... corrupted save file. Tragic.
By the way for those of you unfamiliar there is a link in the descriptions so you can get
an idea of what this challeng is and everything.
For everybody else, I'm gonna give you a quick recap of who I have on my team right now.
Here is Samus, isn't she lovely? She has Thunderbolt,
two crap moves (sort of) and Thunder Wave.
Not much else to say.
Thunderbolt's gonna be doing all the work here.
We have Leviathan, newly added to the team and trained.
This lovely piece of work has Surf, Ice Beam and Earthquake to do some serious damage
and Flail in case he gets himself in trouble...
...which might happen, unfortunately.
Then there's Link. He come to town with his Leaf Blade. Got Giga Drain as well
to help out a bit, Quick Attack is just... there, and Dragon Claw should help a bit against Drake.
Then we have Joshua!
He's got Bonemerang and Rock Tomb.
Both pretty handy.
Leer
is just... there.
And Headbutt. It's cool.
Unlike you Revan (Ray-von :P). Go away.
Then we have Din.
Goddess of... Power.
Sorry, forgot for a moment.
She has Flame Wheel and I gave her Overheat so she could have something to destroy
something with.
Ah, crap I cut to fast. Oh well.
Kratos!
Scizor.
My favorite of all time.
I think that quick glimpse should be more than enough for you folks I mean, come on... It's a Scizor.
Anyways.
"Beyond this point, only (bleh) trainers with Gym Badges can go forth."
"Let us confirm with a cavity search."
"Believe in your cavity-searched self! And go forth..."
"With your beasts of burden." Yaaaaay.
Epic musiiiiic....
All right, let's get this over with.
"Welcome challenger, I am Sidney of the Elite Four!"
"...and I'm a ***."
"I like that look you're giving me! I guess you'll give me a good match..."
Not to be negative or anything.
"That's good, looking real good..."
"Come, let's enjoy a battle that can only be staged here... in my VisualBoy Advance emulator."
...And,
legally otherwise but... that's no fun.
I've always loved the
Champion Battle Music, er, Elite Four Battle Music in the third-gen games
They're so fun. So fun.
Anyways, this battle starts off about the way I expected it.
Take an Intimidate,
lose Attack,
don't care....
Use Thunderbolt...
His Mightyena didn't really walk that off too easily.
Now this is where stuff kinda hits the fan because...
He decides to be a wuss and healll... *sniff, cough, yeah*
No problem usually, except Samus decides to miss. Oh well, hit 'im again, no problem.
She misses again.
Now, I got a little annoyed at this part 'cause...
She freakin' missed AGAIN.
I believe this is where i got fed up
and switched to something that doesn't have sand
Buried in its eyes.
AKA, Link.
Hero of Grass.
...and sand...
And he missed.
Yeah. I was raging pretty hard at this point.
I figured I'd use Giga Drain to restore some health but...
he missed
a-freakin' again.
Got a little nervous here,
took a bigger risk than I should've but...
Who cares, it paid off.
Link's alive,
Mightyena's on the
edge of death
and decided to finish itself off for me.
Recoil damage for the win.
I guess I'm not the only one delving in masochism in this game.
Then you have Absol.
Absol
actually provided
a much faster fight than Mightyena despite it
being the "cornerstone"
as they say of
Sidney's team.
'Cause this baby went down in no time.
Watch and enjoy. (Go Leviathan, go Leviathan...)
Yeah, I think this was the game sort of going back and saying "Sorry I was a
*** bag!"
"Here's a Critical Hit for you!"
*Zelda noise*
*yawn* Sorry, it's about 3:30 right now I'm a little... *clears throat*
Anyways, Ice Beam!
I pumped a little too much (many :P) steroids into Leviathan here.
I mean, this guy...
two days ago he was just a Magikarp
swimming around in Sootopolis and now look at him.
Beefed up,
stuffed full of TMs,
Killin' Shitr- bleh,
'Scuse me, "Killing Shiftry"
I ain't cussing. ...usually.
And yeah, Cacturne's sort of a similar story.
Ice Beam
kicks his butt...
Kind whined a bit, put up a fight on his way down...
But otherwise...
Oh, yeah. Full Restores.
Inevitability.
Down he goes!
Congratulations, you did... twenty damage.
Have a nice night.
Y'know, something that's occurred to me is uh...
in these Nuzlocke challenges we're always going nuts over anytime
one of our pokémon dies,
What if every single other trainer in the game is going by the same challenge?
Just think about it.
You are Gold.
The hotshot trainer that destroys...
EVERYTHING.
Oh, and Samus is a beast. 'Nuff said.
"Raichu! Use da tundabolt!"
"It's super effective!"
And, there we go!
Down goes Sidney, one out of four down. I think that was easily the, uh...
easy part.
Not to be redundant or anything.
"Here's what this loser has to say!"
"You get to go far!"
Like I haven't already?
Go to the next room!
Anyways, signing off for now. Farewell folks, and you have a great nigh-!
