Hi there!!
In this video we're going to see
the "step by step" for this dress
that was shown to you previously.
First. I will make some observations.
When I crocheted this dress
I used machine thread,
but the big skein ones,
that specific kind of thread is very thin, so
I joined four threads and knitted with a hook size numer four
stainless steel hook
It took me a long time to crochet it, well, aproximately three months to knit it.
When we use more than one thread to crochet
eh,
it's easier to make a mistakes in the process
well, the important thing here is...
to tell you that this dress was crocheted with those characteristics
and the one I will step by step here will be crochet with a different kind of yarn,
So, the white dress size will be smaller
one smaller size
or two smaller sizes,
However, this white dress will be knitted with crystal yarn and
I used a numer six hook size.
Here, as you can see the finishing (fall) of the knitting dress isn't
the same as the black dress, however it's important
to see the options that you have, so you can
decide what kind of thread or yarn you'd like to use.
Let's start ! ! ! !
We're going to use crystal yarn in white color and a crochet hook
stainless steel hook numer six.
I'm using a thinner hook because I need my weave
to be the most simillar to the black dress.
As I said before, This black dress I didn't knit it with crystal yarn,
but four strands of machine thread,
since it was all I had in that moment
and this was the result of the thickness, comparing it with the crystal yarn
they're very simillar. We are going to start crochetting this dress by the neck
To start by the neck, we need to have an amount,
being a multiplo of twelve chains.
because the stitch we're going to crochet in here
equals to
twelve stitches from one stitch to another.
So,
the multiple of twelve must be considered for each of these groups
and one aditional stitch that is with the one we start with.
Anyway, taking accounts
I, in this dress, with this size I crocheted
as I said befpre, this is 34 size or Medium size, could be called 36 size also,
or even 32 size (small)
This dress, with this stitch that is similar to
the net stitch here, so
it's very accesible to adjust to any of these sizes.
ok
so,
I will try to be more clear here
I'm considering here how many groups I have in each of these stitches and
from here is that I'm taking the quantity of chains to start knitting
this dress.
The amount of groups of this stitch is 23, then I
the number 23
of these groups
it's been multiplied by twelve
that is the quantity of chains that goes between one stitch and another
and one extra stitch that is where we start.
That gives as a total of 276 chains.
I'm going to knit those 276 chains,
but, I will also knit five additional chains. I allways suggest that you crochet
some extra chains in your knitting
just in case that when we are setting the stitches on the chains, we missed some chains or for any mistake reason aren't enough.
This is to prevent missing stitches (one, two or three chains)
and that we don't have to unweave what we have knitted already, so here we're going to start knitting...
I always start my knittings
with two chains very tight.
After knitting two tight chains,
we're going to crochet 276 chains
and the five extra chains, would be a total of
281 chains.
2
3
4
5 6
7
Here I have the total of 281 chains.
Now, we'll continue here
knitting a quantity
of seven chains.
one
2
3
4 5 6
7
This 7 chains will be used to give the height. In the eight chain, we are
going to make a double loop
because we're going to crochet
one stitch called "punto alto doble"
we're going to put the hook through, getting one thread up the hook and two threads below the hook
and here we pass through one thread, two threads
two threads and two threads.
with this we are giving height to one "punto alto doble" here
and we're going to crochet another "punto alto doble" in the same stitch, in this one here.
We'll continue knitting six chains
6
and we're going to pass
five chains starting in here
5
and in the sixth
here, we're going to put our hook through
getting one thread up the hook and two threads below the hook, and here we take our fabric this way and
here we're going to crochet
one single crochet, this is cause we don't want our single crochet to be too big
we'll crochet again six chains
and again we'll take a double loop cause we're going to continue knitting a
"punto alto doble" that should be
in between
the sixth chain
one 2 3 4
5
6 here
and we knit our "punto alto doble"
we'r going to continue knitting another "punto alto doble" in the same chain stitch
becaause here, what we're knitting will be two "puntos altos
dobles"
in the same chain stitch
after that, tree chain stitches
and we'll continue knitting
two "puntos altos dobles" in the same chain stitch here
that means it will be knitted as
the four group of "puntos altos dobles"
in the same chain stitch
like this, knitted this way
again, six chain stitches
6
and we're going to pass, look!!
in here, were we knitted several stitches in the same chain stitch
xometimes it makes that the next stitch movesnos hace que el siguiente punto se recorra
1 2 3
4
5 y esta sería la sexta cadena
y aquí vamos a tejer
un medio punto
nos deben quedar
de esta manera los grupos
una 2 3 4 5 6 y no otra vez vamos a considerar
otra vez vamos a tejer
feliz cadenas
vamos a contar aquí
una 2 3 4 5 y en la sexta cadena
aquí
dejamos una guerra por arriba
y aquí vamos a tejer
nuestro medio punto
cadena
