- Hi there. In this video, we’re going to show you how you can use
Facebook to gain vast exposure for your business. The campaign we’re going to be
setting up right now is, actually funny enough, going to be the campaign that got
you to this video in the first place. So, let’s get started. Obviously, you need to
have Facebook open. So, log in to your Facebook account. And then on the
left-hand side over here, you can actually see an item called ‘Ads Manager’. Let’s go
ahead and click on that. So, once you’re in your ‘Ads Manager’ section, go to the
right-hand corner at the top and click on ‘Create an Ad’. Now, there are multiple ad
types that you can use but in this case, we’re going to use ‘Clicks to Website’.
And, I’m just gonna put in the URL of the website that I’ll be linking to for this
campaign and we’ll just put that in there. And, it’s actually going to link to this
page, this is the URL. Uh, if you click on this URL, you’ll get to this page.
Alright. Now that’s done, it automatically picks up the image from that page and it
starts setting up your campaigns. So now, let’s go downwards here and select the
Facebook page that we wanna associate this campaign with. So, you need to have a
Facebook page, a business page set up for you to be able to do this. So, I’ve
selected Emmix. Now, I don’t like the right column advertisement. So, let’s just
remove that and focus on the main News Feed advertisements. This is a matter of
choice. I find that the right column has less engagements, uh, less reactions, less
likes and shares than the ads in the News Feed. So now, we've got to put in the text
in here, ‘Learn to use Facebook’. And, let’s just put in the description out
here.
Now, obviously, they give us a limit.
So, let’s just edit this … to make this short and sweet. ‘Learn how to
use Facebook for Business’. Full stop. And, in here, let’s put in the longer
description. Beautiful. No problems. Alrighty. So now, we’ve just set up the
headline, the text and the link description. So, that’s the headline here,
the description here. So, ‘Learn to use Facebook for Business’, this is still too
long.
Actually, what I’m finding is that it doesn’t actually let me have the,
uh, brackets in there. So, let’s just put that in there. Beautiful. Alright. That’s
set up now. So now, let’s keep scrolling down and this is where it gets really fun.
This is where we target who’s going to see this advertisement. And in my case, in
this campaign, I wanna target people from the ages of 20 to no maximum, in
Australia. I wanna do an Australia wide campaign and I would like to target small
business owners. Now, as you can see here, there are a lot of options that you can
use for your campaign. You can get really specific with who’s going to see your ad.
You can say, you know, and add interest. For example, people who like Marketing,
people who like Business, people who like Entrepreneurship. In your case, depending
on your business, you can use different interests that suit your business or your
product or the service that you’re going to advertise. Then going down, you can say
you want this, uh, put this campaign forward only to men or only to women. You
can even target their relationship status and all these other thing like languages,
education and workplaces. But, for the purpose of this campaign, I just wanna
target all Australian business people age of 20 and over for, in the small business
category.
So, I’m going to go ahead and actually get this campaign started. I’m
going to give it a name that is a little bit more specific. ‘Emmix Facebook for
Business’. And, I wanna give it a budget of, let’s say, 50 dollars a day. And, run
my campaign continuously starting today. Optimize clicks, automatically optimize my
bid to get more clicks. I wanna get more clicks in this case. It doesn’t really
matter to me how many people see my ad for this campaign. It’s about the number of
people who click through, land on this page and subscribe. So, that’s what’s
important for me. I’m just going to leave automatically optimized my bid to get more
bids. And now, we’ll just review your order. Okay, that’s the ad, the link.
People who live in Australia, 20 years and older, in the broad category of small
business owners, 50 dollars for a day. Place order. Wonderful. In a moment that
will show me that the order has been placed. Yes, your order has been placed.
We can create a similar ad or we can just continue. And, that is basically the end
of the campaign. So now, it’ll go through a review process. Facebook will review the
ad and it will go live shortly. I hope you’ve enjoyed that. We will have more
videos of this sort that go deeper into the different aspects of Facebook and
Facebook advertising. And, I look forward to seeing you next time. Bye-bye.
