We have been living in Halawa since 1990
We live a simple life
We need a lot of drinking water due to the large number of families
We are facing water challenges here
Specifically here in Halawa
This is one of the most vulnerable areas
We don't own many water cisterns; we own a lot of livestock
Water access is a really big challenge
With time, it has become much harder
Before, I used to own one truck to deliver water
Now, my children grow up and start working in water delivery. demand for water is high
The people of these communities are vulnerable, and can't afford to buy water
The cost of providing water to these communities without support is really high
The minimum cost of a cubic meter is 25 USD due to rugged roads and long distance
Before this project support, we used to purchase water from Twani community
We spent three hours delivering water here by tractor
Sometimes we are stopped by Israeli authorities they sometimes detain us for the whole day
We obtain water from wells
We carry water above our heads to water our livestock
This consumes a lot of our time
Our life is really hard, I am tired of it
