This is a 60-second Army Now from Soldiers Radio and Television.
I'm Sergeant 1st Class Randy Randolph.
To NCOs past, present, and future.
Fort Meyer honored the Noncommissioned Officer Corps with a ceremony featuring the Old Guard.
Old Guard troops donned uniforms representing the Army's NCOs from their inception to today--
--commemorating a rich tradition of the role of the noncommissioned officer.
Your stature is one of strength, your will to achieve is greater than ever before.
But most importantly, it is an example that you represent that so many outside refuse to live by--
--and it is the same example and code that we're sworn to keep--
--and when we do it, we do it faithfully and with a flair and spirit unseen in any corporation.
The 2009 Year of the NCO celebrates these attributes and provides a beacon for the future.
