Hi there, my name is Konstantin Reinfeld. I am a student and musician playing the diatonic harmonica and a bit piano.
Hi there, my name is Christoph Spangenberg. I am from Berlin and actually live in Hamburg as a pianist, songwriter and producer.
So the first songwriting experiences with Christoph took place at the ''Hochschule für Musik und Theater'' in Hamburg.
We immediately had a loose atmosphere and got along very well writing songs.
Everything worked out great
I think when we first met we actually played something as a start. As often we simply started out with the good old blues
and that quickly showed that the journey can go way further than that.
First of all my plans are definitely to graduate from high school and to go in the direction of music after that.
That could be making my own music or also other things related to that
as songwriting, to work on that, and possibly to study jazz.
Certainly this is also a topic at home to make something solid after school but I think
that you should do what you want to do. So it would be great if you can make a living
with your hobby and to run that path for now.
Well, I recently recorded my debut album which got possible
in connection to my Hohner endorsee contract.
I decided to do jazz influenced music on that
which wasn't foreseeable when I started to play the instrument because obviously you start out playing blues on the blues harp.
Slowly I explored the other possibilities with the instrument.
Jazz is seldom played on the harmonica therefore this is a really interesting project.
''Seven Orange'' describes indeed us getting to know each other for a bit. Contentwise the title lets devine a parallel to the place where we met for the first time and
this first meeting was as chaotic and filled by brimming of ideas as fast it was over again. This first song was actually also the first song we both wrote together which
will begin the album and it includes gypsy music, son and pop music.
This was our start and insofar we thought there is nothing better than letting the listener
hear that song on track 1 of the album.
