Skulling all your chips is a little different than skulling a regular iron. There is usually
two causes to this one of the causes is you're using too much hands like this you can see
how my, I am very handy I am not using my body turn to generate club head speed I am
trying to swat at the ball. So what happens is sense nobody's that good with their hands
a lot of times they hit and then they skull it because all it takes is a microscopic move
of that much to take your shot from a half way decent shot to a skull to a top or a thinly
hit ball. So the two correctives here are one don't use your hands so much use the body
turn and the other one of course is to keep you head still. So even if I am doing every
thing right and I lift up my head I am going to hit the ball in the middle of the ball
because I have lifted my head up which lifts the club up which means instead of hitting
it underneath the ball I am going to hit it in the middle of the ball. So if you combine
those two bad habits though too handy and moving your head the you know you get an atrociously
bad shot all the time. So it would be very rare that you would hit a good shot so how
you fix skulled chips is focus on keeping you head still so try that drill again where
you put the ball there and then take your hands out of it. So just lift the club by
caulking the wrist and turning the shoulders so it's not that easy to do. So I am going
to try just to keep my head still and that ball popped right up. So that's how you fix
that problem get the hands out of it and use your body turn and keep your head still looking
down at the ball.
