Hey guys it's FrictionPin. And it is Wednesday night, so we have a Lego Store MOC update
video. Actually, this we are going to call our grand opening. I am going to call the
Lego Store MOC finished. So this will be basically a tour of the completed Lego Store. Bumped
that, there we go, now we are ready for the Grand Opening. Alright, so as your can see,
I did get the roof finished. The reason why the roof is hollow up here is for a future
project, far down the road not any time soon, I'm going to call this complete, but that
is open so that I can go back in there and add the power functions with the lights. What
I will do is make a little hole in the roof and extended it down a little ways to make
the light that you see in the actual Lego Store that looks like the bottom of a Lego
brick with the tubes that are lit up. I don't have all the pieces, I've never had power
functions before and I don't plan on getting those any time soon so for now we are going
to call this done. But that is why the roof is built up the way it is and why there is
the hollow space there. So I will put the power functions in there and close it which
will be the end of it down the road, with a switch in there to turn the lights on and
off. Anyway, on to the version that we have here which will be our finalized version.
We have Cletus standing at the front of the store with the doors open welcoming customers
and both my sigfigs made an appearance. Do not even try to contemplate how that is possible,
that I am two physical people in the same place at the same time, [explosion sound],
that was my head exploding. But this is Lego and it's your imagination so, hey, anything
is possible. Alright, so what we got, we have the roof and I have to be careful when I turn
it, let me get my sigfigs out of hte way, because all the sets on the inside are not
attached and I bumped it earlier and they all fell off the shelves. So I had to spend
some time putting those back together. That kind of gives you an idea of what the roof
looks like on the sides, both sides are the same and the back looks just like the front,
except for the little outstretched windows there. Alright. Let's take the top off. Put
our roof over here. And now take a look at the inside. So we have George in there behind
the counter ready to do business, ready for our first customer. Move over here to the
sides, we've got our sets over there with our brand ribbon, let me zoom in for you there.
All setup and ready to go. Whoops, looks like one fell off on the end there. Got all those,
we are stocked up on all our sets. We've got all the different lines, we've got Super Heroes,
Modular Buildings, Trains, Back to the Future, all kinds of stuff in our Lego Store. We want
variety for our customers, that's right, we even have discontinued sets! You know what,
they are all cheap! Yep, that's right! Because here, we don't care about money, so, it's
not real life...we can do whatever we want. People come to our so, you know what, we give
sets away to people for free! That's right! That's what we do! That's right Bob! [Bob:Yep]
See, Bob says so...wait a minute, his name's not Bob.....What's his name? George, yeah,
George is his name, sorry George. [George: It's all right] So we've got our Pick A Brick
Wall here in the back with our Modulex pieces, all Lego in the construction, even the stickers
you could say are Lego because they are Lego sets, ha! So there in the corner we've got
the limited edition sort and store heads with the FrictionPin face pattern, the only one
we stock in our store. Super limited edition. Alright, moving on. We've got a Blacktron
set there, got some more modulars, got Lord of the Rings, the Monster Fighters. There
is a classic space set right there, Space Police. There is the Creator House. There
is the Sydney Opera House. Got a little minifig station in there, our cash registers, high
tech cash registers, LOL, they must be a MAC. No I'm just kidding! I do use a PC, I don't
have anything against MACs. We've got our little building station with our bricks. Got
our red 2x4 brick, the super rare one, donated to us courtesy of BrickTsar, thank you BrickTsar!
Super expensive item, I never could have afforded that on my own, but he was nice enough to
send that to me for the grand opening. So that's our Lego Store and there is the little
door to go in the back where all the super secret stuff are. Go back there and restock
our shelves, but there is kind of a zoomed out version of it opened up. I think all in
all it turned out pretty good for the first set I've built, my own set I guess you could
say, since...goodness....almost 30 years. So, I hope you guys like it, I hope you liked
the format of weekly, mostly weekly, updates on these. Let me know in the comments if that's
something that you want to see going forward, weekly updates. I have not decided yet what
the next project will be but in a week, maybe two weeks, I will post another video on what
the new MOC will be. Just let me know in the comments, we can do weekly updates, monthly
updates, whatever makes sense, whatever you guys want to see. So just let me know there.
Also, let me know what you think of the finshed version of the Lego Store and I hope you guys
liked it. I really liked building it. I really appreciate all the support and comments that
everybody gave me during the building process. Lots and lots of fun. Anyway, thanks for watching,
I appreciate it very, very much and we'll see you in the next video.
