Use this guided journey to explore your inner landscape of essential symbolic imagery and
heartfelt wisdom. Now, relax the body from head to toe.
Allow the breathing to become deeper and slow. Withdraw the attention from the outer-senses.
And turn the attention to the inner-senses. Begin this journey by using your inner-senses
to find yourself in a natural environment. Notice the ground you are standing on, here,
right now in your imaginal world. Notice what is close around you.
See the natural landscape further in the distance. And listen to sounds in this place.
This is an extra-ordinary reality within you. You can think of this area as a Starting place.
This Starting place is also a place where you can reflect on your life -- your ordinary
reality. Take a moment to reflect on a specific Concern
from your life; perhaps the first Concern that comes to mind.
You feel a solution needs to be found for this Concern -- something needs to change.
Now think of a few words or phrase that describes this Concern;
like a name or a label for this Concern. Good.
You find that you can take this Concern out of yourself;
out of your mind and out of your body and set it aside here in this natural setting.
Simply set this concern outside of you, on the ground nearby.
Good. Now turn away from that Concern and look for
a new way; a path further into the inner landscape. Move
along that path. The Starting place disappears behind. A new
inner landscape appears in front. Here in this new inner landscape you find
yourself in front of a closed door that leads to a room.
Take a moment to examine that door. See its shapes and colors;
the unique feeling of this door at your heart center.
The door opens. Step inside. This room holds just what you need right now.
Notice the walls and windows if there are any, the floor, the ceiling overhead.
There is probably a comfortable place here to sit and relax.
You may find tables or shelves; a place to work or create.
There are other objects in this room here; whatever you need.
One object here catches your attention; something that is important or interesting
to you. Bring your attention to this one newfound
object. Explore this newfound object. See the shape
and color. Use the sense of touch.
Perhaps a sound comes from this object. More details appear.
It is useful in some way. Explore this object through the extra ordinary
sense of the heart-center. At the heart-center, there is a feeling about
this object; a feeling completely unique to this object.
No other objects in the room have the same heartfelt feeling as this particular object.
The heart perceives the unique spirit of this object.
Think of a few words or phrase that describes this unique heartfelt feeling;
like a name or label, a way in words to refer to this newfound object.
This object can be picked up and carried; somehow the size and weight do not matter.
It is just easy to carry. Carry the object through the door -- outside
the room. The door closes behind you.
You feel nature all around you and see the landscape around you again.
And there is the same path. Move on the path; allow the landscape and
the room to disappear behind. The familiar landscape of the Starting place
appears in front. Now find where the Concern is.
Now reflect on that Concern and bring to mind the label, the few words or phrase that describes
this Concern. Allow the images of this Concern, the feelings
to reappear. Now place the newfound object you are holding,
into the Concern. Without any effort on your part simply watch
the Object act on the Concern. The Object, its nature and quality, its usefulness,
effects and influences the Concern. Without effort on your part, the Object brings
change to the Concern. Continue observing.
Good. And in a moment it will be time to finish
this journey and return to ordinary reality. With gratitude in your heart acknowledge the
new insight and wisdom found here. Feel a sense of gratitude for this place,
the room, the object. Gratitude deepens the inner experience and
cultivates receptivity for the next journey. Over the next few days this Object will continue
to work behind the scenes -- beneath your awareness.
And without effort on your part, new wisdom and gifts will appear.
Now, return to ordinary reality. Begin to use your outer-senses.
Open your eyes and look around the room. Notice the sounds around you.
Stretch and move your body. You can return to this journey again, anytime
you like.
