Hi, my name is Clint Schambach and I am a personal trainer and bootcamp instructor with
Level Up Fitness in St Louis, MO. One of the first questions that you should
always ask a personal trainer before hiring them, is if they carry personal training liability
insurance. First things first, and you need to know if
that personal trainer carries insurance. Although a personal trainer’s insurance is to protect
themselves from a lawsuit, you need to know that if something happens to you, you will
not be left fending for yourself. Personal training is a very unique profession
in the fact that anyone can start a business at any time and just claim to be a fitness
expert. This is why its very important to make sure your personal trainer is insured.
This will just give you an added level of comfort knowing that they have proven to an
insurance company or independent party, that they have the knowledge and education to keep
people safe. Something you may or may not have considered
is this. If your personal trainer or bootcamp meets in a random park, this question becomes
even more important. This style of personal training can be started by anyone and with
no record of any previous educational studies. This can put you at a higher risk of injury,
and with no liability insurance, you will be left all alone with no help.
If you or anyone you know is struggling with fitness or weight loss, and has been going
to their local gyms, fitness center, or health club bootcamp without seeing any fat loss
results, then let me invite you to check out additional videos on our website or YouTube
