Let's look a little closer at the editing process
Having selected a multiple choice question
item type on the left hand side, we see the
content for it is shown on the right
The content consists of a series of fields
(Name, Question text, Choices, and Feedback)
which together will give us the content for
our question.
First lets look at 'name'.
This field is rather special, because it will
determine the label on the left as well.
(Changes Name, showing label change on left)
The question text field is, as the name
suggests, the actual question itself.
This field is different in that we can
add multiple paragraphs, we can format using
the tools above - bold, underline, italic
and so on; we can have numbered lists
or bulleted lists, and we can have other
formatting like superscript.
(Deletes formatting demos)
Next come the choices for the multiple choice question
here we can tick multiple responses as being
correct if you want a multiple-selection
question.
You can delete or add new items if you need them.
The feedback is the text the student will
see after they have attempted the question.
You will see that there are other types of
field items for different types of questions,
or for images and so on, but we will
look at those later.
