My internship is at the sports software company called Hudl.
It's a lot of work that matters.
You feel like what you're doing is important.
[so we have coach cards…]
It's also really cool to get to work with Hudl's three founders
who are also CBA grads themselves.
So we had a speaker come and talk to one of our classes.
And I actually got his business card.
He got me in contact with a recruiter.
And that led to this great opportunity.
So you know it's all about networking.
The reason why I decided to intern with the accounting firm Deloitte and Touche
is because they are a big four accounting firm and that's what I really sought after.
As a student at CBA, I've had four internships.
I'm a social media marketing intern for Midlands Financial Benefits.
I'm taking a company and I'm helping it excel.
I'm really making an impact.
This is an important experience because it gives students hands on training
in what they're actually going to be doing in the real world.
I think that everyone should at least do one internship
because it legitimately gives you that real-life experience.
I can say I've had real job experience as a sophomore in college.
Use it as a resume builder.
With an internship you can really just find yourself.
I don't think it would have worked out the way it did without CBA's help.
Start something.
Start and internship.
Start something at the College of Business Administration.
