Mercedes. Who doesn’t enjoy a good stretching?
Well this is part of what’s included in Yoga, but I have to tell you
that while talking to a friend here, she told me her story about
how she meet her actual husband during a yoga class for couples…
Wow, that’s is a real combo Glenda, Yoga with love included.
it is not a surprise because for many couples, practicing Yoga together
is fun and motivational way to exercise, meditate and to reach that elusive nirvana.
To talk about Yoga for couples, is now with us the yoga teacher, Veronica Vidal.
Welcome… and what do you think about that story of Glenda about her friend
who meet her husband during a Yoga for couples class?
Indeed Mercedes…
Does this happens..?
It happens a lot, people as classes are so popular today, men and women come
and meet each other, have fun together, then they go out, drink a juice and yes…
they match many times. As well as you said, really, it is a very fun way to get together.
Many times these days, couples don’t even have the time to talk, so practicing
Yoga together gives them the opportunity to spend more time together and
at the same time, meet from a different plane.
Now Veronica… let me tell you something else and let’s see your opinion
because I was doing my own poll before this interview, and another different
friend told me she practices Yoga with her husband, but she complains about
men not being as flexible as women (physiologically)… is this true?
What you said it’s very true Glenda, now the advantage that Yoga has to offer
is that because it’s a non competitive activity, even if men is not as flexible as women,
they are much stronger than women in general.
So in Yoga, both aspects are offered, the flexible as well as the strength parts.
So being an activity where there is no competition against each other,
no friction exists, because each one can go at their own pace gaining strength
flexibility and sharing this moment with the couple.
And now that they are sharing, which way does Yoga for couples
help to stimulate sexuality?
I'm glad you asked me this Mercedes …
Yoga works from two perspectives. From a purely physiological point of view
Yoga offers a myriad of poses that stimulate blood flow
on the genitals, as well as making more flexible and strengthening pelvic muscles.
This of course stimulates the libido as well as from the emotional point of view
when the couple can ... let me go back a little, I want to talk a little bit about stress,
as stress and fatigue, has been clinically proven to reduce libido
then one can practice yoga in couples where both breathe together,
relax and meditate together, that increases the intimacy, the harmony of the couple,
and a mutual understanding.
Great, thanks you very much Veronica Vidal for being one more time with us…
Many Many thanks!
We invite you to come back and keep watching CNN…
