Now these people know enough when they present to, to speak loudly enough even in their quiet
way. To have intonation, to have variation, to be audible. But their style is quiet and
genuine and very engaging. Here's another style. The class clown, the hysterically funny
person. There are people that we all know who have been funny all of their lives. They
give hysterically funny presentations. Audiences love to laugh. Audiences love to laugh along
with presenters. When funny presenters are using warm humor, that is they're not insulting
anybody. They're not self deprecating. And they are delivering their messages, then they
are wonderful presenters. Story telling presenters, people who are just so incredibly nice that
nobody would ever think a nasty thing about them, people who are so incredibly credible
that their message seems really important, all make for wonderful presenters. I've got
a whole series on understanding and using your own style. But for now start to think
about, and get feedback from your friends and peers, about what your style might be.
