parents in Denver are facing four counts I love
at felony child abuse charges each one of them is facing four counts
because the conditions are there for boys were living in it therefore
their boys are between the ages of 2&6 to four five and six to be specific
and out one other children was taken to the hospital because he had a cut on his
face
and then the doctor's note is that the boy was in really really bad shape he
was very dirty
it seemed as if he hadn't been living in a clean environment for quite some time
so a social worker decided to visit the home and then they found
the worst possible conditions for children to live in there was cat feces
everywhere are the floors were just soaked in cat urine
it was dirty it was disgusting in fact let me give you guys a summer the
description
that was on noted in the Denver at in the Denver channel dot com
they set a strong order a decomposing animal coming from inside
the officer said the small because became unbearable as they entered the
apartment
the officer could not locate the source of the smell but its its
but said it seemed to be coming from a back room that was so full of lies
they were covering every surface your the children also were unable to speak
apparently a the father said well they have their own language
that was his excuse yeah I that's might be the worst excuse ever heard
as is the language you're called English though we try to teach kids so they can
communicate to others
yeah to their parents and also to friends if they ever got out
look all the skid stories /a abuse stories
drive me crazy you know that having kids are my own
I was think like hi can anybody do that and in this case there is an extra layer
here
uses you know cuz we've heard about a lot of abuse stories but the
a 6-year-old not been able to speak Mike
card what did you do these kids so the couple
is Wayne sperling he 66 years old and the mother is Lorinda Bailey she's 35
years old
so there's a 31-year age difference there I don't know what's going on
on the mother says that even though we live in the same building they live in a
separate units
I'm in a father is the primary caretaker the children
at this site is a caretaker here II don't know this is a slight damning with
faint praise in this case primary caretaker
geez if you're a secondary one how for horrible are you
so stories like this pop up all the time actually
you know I have friends that are social workers and they talk about some other
conditions that kids live in some other neglected the
they face and it's really really sad and I don't really know what the answer is
in terms of solving this issue yet look
a if they can speak before kids
that means that they were totally locked away
from other human beings but look all you need is a TV
and you'd be able to speak make this whole lotta kids learn anyway
right a any you know interaction with other kids
any a interaction with other adults I mean if they can speak at all way up to
the age 26
my god what did you do i mean you you must be kept him in that room to flies
and they said
underneath the bed was like like at least 2 inches deep of
kitty litter great and so in this disgusting room that you had him locked
up their whole lives
what's all with you people I mean in me yesterday
or two days ago we talked about how others evil in the world of course of
course
to be able to do this to anybody let alone
your own *** hits end of course there's no answer mean
how do you how do you incentivize a guy like that
who pick and the woman like that who has no
feelings apparently whatsoever about their own kids to do the right thing
it seems inconceivable that they could understand the concept of doing right
right
and up by the way we're just speculating that they're bad people but there could
be other factors into play there could be mental health illness here there
could be extreme poverty here
i know i know: poverty is not an *** drugs there could be a great drugs but
extreme poverty is an answer because what if they do have mental health
issues and they don't have no it has to be in combination with mental health
issues
yeah I extreme poverty leases terrible situation doesn't lead to doing this to
your kids right but we also live in a country where their kids living on the
streets
so to pretend as if like oh my god this is terrible. how dare they I mean
do we really care about children in America because a huge chunk of them are
starving as we speak
and there are some that are living on the streets as we speak so
II I think that when it comes to neglected issues like this poverty does
play a role
one less thing in when he gets a bad parenting
its you know look poor pass obviously try to do the best they can on the
circumstance there in
but rich parents could be just as abusive and neglectful
and and I read this Rolling Stone piece
about the Duke family if you never read this thing
it's it's long K but it the is the guys that with the
tobacco family that originally sir Duke University they've been incredibly
charitable
you know they've successful business in the beginning et cetera but the money
filter down
through the generations and a
me several generations ago they lost a work ethic
right and they had all this money and so they need to work
and they just start devolving by the end
the two current kids they're twins in now they're about fifty years old
you hear their story and these their parents are
incredibly rich dude in his giant matches locked up
in their own room similar to this story okay
waste everywhere their own waste living in they would turn the kids cribs
upside down to serve is like a cage
so the kids couldn't go anywhere abuse
after abuse shotguns throughout the house
you know beings at their age ***
on drugs or drunk while driving all the time being he will drive the kids off a
cliff
so it rich poor I mean once you lost some sort of moral compass
or you're so dad deep into drugs that's what's
at terrible hideous things like this happens
