I'm Tammy Horvath. Back in 2004 at age 34 I was diagnosed with uterine sarcoma.
I was given two weeks to live. I wrote letters to my kids.
I got them Christmas presents for when I wouldn't be there so they would remember me.
I decided to remain positive, remain hopeful and take good care of myself and
just enjoy those moments with my little boys. It's tough to go through that kind of experience,
that much surgery and treatment. It changes who you are
physically, but what a gift to wake up every day. We all know people that didn't survive,
but I know so many people living longer and living beyond this disease.
