Just a few programs created by European Union have known the impact the Erasmus program
has achieved up to now, not only because the most part of european universities are involved
in this program, but also because the Erasmus program, has, since 1987, when it started,
provided the experience of studying abroad to more than 2 million students. And what
does the Erasmus experience mean to the students? I' d say it means a considerable added value
in terms of their academic route, but it also represents an important added value in their
lives, in the personal lives of students, it represents the way how they learn to relate
to other people, to increase their own conscience and the others', as well as the respect for
others, it also means the acquisition of skills from the point of the linguistic view and,
then, beyond all this, we must add the aspects concerning the future professional life, in
other words, nowadays we know that more and more companies valorize the internationalization
of their candidates' studies and so, from this poin of view, to accomplish an Erasmus
mobility program can perform the increasing of mobility and their prospects for the future
too.
