Hey there! How are you guys?! So, today I'm
going to be showing you guys how to make
these super duper cute
Oscar de la Renta-inspired statement
earrings. So, let's get into it. So, the
first thing you want to do is with your
clay you want to mold a small teardrop
shape, and we'll call this Piece A. After
that, you want to take Piece A and you
want to glue it to the top of your hairband.
Now, after that you want to apply a light
amount of glue to a section of the hairband
and begin to wrap the string of
beads around that area that has glue, and
you're just going to continue to work
your way all around the hairband. Then just
lightly applying glue and continuing to
wrap the hairband. Now I suggest that
you take it section by section because if
you do if you put the glue on the whole
entire hair band it's going to dry and
then you're going to have to start over
so just uhm do it section by section. So,
a little bit of glue in each section, and
then string. And then you're going to
repeat these steps for the other earring.
Put some glue along the top of PA and
you want to just use your fingers to
pick up the beads, and then place them
along Piece A, and you might need to have a
little bit of patience with this, but
once you get it done it's completely worth
the time. Then after you have completely
covered your earrings with the beads place
a small amount of glue onto the back of
your clip on
earring attachment and let it get tacky
as well. And then, place the clip-on
attachment onto the back of Piece A.
You want to make sure that you're
especially careful with where you place it.
Try to place the clip-on attachment
as close as you can to the middle -- or
even the top of PA, and that's it you guys!
So, let me know what color beads you're
going to use. Spring is here, and summer is
coming, so are you going to use like bright
colors: yellow, oranges, red, or black? Let
me know what colors you're going to use,
and of course, thank you guys so much for
watching this video, and be sure to share
it with your friends and your family, and
I'll see you guys with the next one.
