Let me introduce myself. My name's Arnaud.
Have you ever wondered if your Facebook friends
were your friends in real life?
Well I have!
It's fine and well to connect, to "like" statuses,
to like photos, to comment on postings,
but are these really our friends for all that?
To answer this question, I'm going to do a real-life test:
I'm going to drop in on my Facebook friends at home
and I'm going to try to have a cup of coffee with them.
But I'm going to drop in just like that, unexpectedly.
I've got some little cameras, like this one.
So there'll be one camera that'll be placed here,
one camera that'll be filming me.
There'll also be the coffee.
Coffee.
Check.
And mugs!
The mugs!
Thanks Nescafé for the mugs and the coffee.
I've also got this thermos,
I‘ll thank myself as it's my thermos.
And then, hot coffee.
Here's the scenario.
The camera's in position, I take the mugs.
I hold them like this.
I ring the doorbell. The door opens.
I've got the reaction, live,
I've got the emotion that's immediately felt
by the person in front of me.
I think I'm going to be exposed to all sorts of reactions.
Good ones I hope , not too many bad ones.
I hope they won't slam the door in my face.
I'd look like a fool
if they actually did slam the door in my face.
