Culligan D-250A Hey everyone, Aquaman here with FilterDoctor.com.
Today we’re looking at the Culligan D-250A filter set.
Now this set combines a D40 .5 micron carbon block and a D25 granular activated carbon.
In combination they’re commonly used in many under sink drinking water systems, including
the Culligan SY series and the Pentek US1000 and US1500.
They are NSF certified for standard 42 and 53, so they have a very long list of contaminants
that they reduce; chlorine taste and odor, sediment, lead, mercury, lindane, atrazine,
cryptosporidium and giardia which are microorganisms that will make you feel very sick, toxophene,
benzene, asbestos, all the nasties that you don’t want in your drinking water. Very
powerful set in combination. Now these cartridges will have an approximate
filter life of 500 gallons or 6 months, whichever comes first. Never go longer than 6 months
on that kind of a filter change, it’s just a bad idea.
So again, this is the Culligan D-250A, and I’m your host Aquaman with FilterDoctor.com.
Thanks for watching.
