What comes to your mind?
What doesn't come, since things do not come to your minds?
The right day for you will be the one when things come to your mind.
I confess that have committed an act.
I know three kinds of confession.
One is known to all, is the one where you try to admit as little as possible,
no matter, it is still facing a criminal judge,
we know that we try to admit as little as possible.
The second case is the confession to the priest, also known as sacramental confession,
so typical of the Catholic Church.
Then again, I am a daily practitioner several times a day of the third confession,
which is the psychoanalytical confession,
which deserves to be lexically named so, for lexical fairness:
there is someone going to tell his personal business to someone else.
For the time being, we'll skip the judiciary one, that would deserve time that is not available.
I care to separate, due to a hundred years old confusion,
psychoanalytic and religious confession, sacramental, as you will.
The difference is this, it is technical, I should say,
is more formal, precise, sometimes the technical word is used wrongly, it is formal.
The priest, for those who believe, I'm not talking to an audience strictly formed by Catholic believers,
the majority is not actually, to the priest, I confess my sins,
sins, crimes, both are Romance words of similar meaning, are synonyms;
the priests are widely wrong because they confuse them,
sin has become an interior thing, crime something external, what a mistake!
However, to the priest the penitent confesses his sins.
Not to the psychoanalyst. If my patient begins to confess his sins,
I stopped him, tell him he's on the wrong track,
even if he had strangled her aunt an hour earlier.
To a psychoanalyst one should confess the sins of someone else to himself,
the crimes he had to suffer because someone imposed on him;
it's especially the tricks that the child had to suffer ever since childhood,
from which he won't come out, unless he resorts to that extrema ratio that we call psychoanalysis.
