pretzels are very high in sodium. Now this these are a Snyders brand of pretzels they
are a little bit less They contain 390 milligrams of sodium for about the same amount. They
are 120 calories per serving and again the 390 grams of sodium. But again when a serving
is this small you can see how you can get a lot a lot of salt in a few servings. Now
then we have these pretzels here. These are unsalted pretzels and they actually contain
for the same serving 115 calories so relatively the same amount of calories but they only
contain only 70 milligrams of sodium because you do not see the actual salt granules on
them. They don’t have any added salt. Now some people will say that is not very good.
I don’t wanna eat pretzels without salt on them. But one great idea is you can take
any kind of mustard this is a Dijon mustard that’s very low in salt and you can put
this in a little dish and dip the unsalted pretzels in the mustard. They add some flavor.
There are a lot of ways to add flavor to unsalted pretzels. So like I said pretzels can be a
very very great alternative to something like chips but its very important especially if
you have high blood pressure or just if you are watching your sodium in general that you
really pay attention to those labels and you try to pick something unsalted or that has
