There is a button under the floor which you can press anyway.
Here. This partially opens the exit.
Which is accessible using a glide.
This button starts a lift.
I take the yellow key meanwhile, using a strafejump shortcut.
Tight corridor with monsters, no way to skip it unfortunately.
3 shotgun guys 1-shotted
Imp and shotgunner 1-shotted
a glide, skips half of garden part of map
I slide along cacodemon here, which boosts my speed enough to save a tic and break 25secs
the door is opened to release a baron, it's quicker than killing him.
monster movement and damage are manipulated to get through quickly.
There is no room to avoid all of them, as can be seen :)
Rocket launcher will be crucial for map07, so i take it while i'm waiting for the lift.
More manipulation
This was a plasmagun grab trick. I switch to chaingun instead.
This little step into the room starts a lift. I pick up rockets meanwhile.
A perfect 0-tic glide!
Sliding along demons.
In this map one has to kill all spiders to make exit accessible.
Typically spiders die in 3 shots, 2-shotting is a rarity.
In a TAS, however, one can manipulate luck to make all of them die in 2 shots.
Except for this place, here my manipulation could be 1 rocket better.
I'm low on rockets despite picking them at every possible moment, so i use plasma when it doesnt hurt time.
No need to conserve health.
Hence some ugly-looking boosting :)
Killing all of them raises a step to the exit.
But due to some bug in doom, step rises twice - when all monsters are dead, and then after next corpse finishes its death animation.
You can notice how it started raising again when i stepped on it. It doesn't affect anything in the run though.
A glide, skips half of map.
This map is very crowded.
Revenant killed an imp here and cleared the way.
Dead player's height becomes zero, which allows to skip bars that prevent from exiting. Saves lots of time.
Since i died, i don't have my weapons anymore.
This map is swarming with monsters, but TAS makes it look almost empty :p
I manipulate luck so that imp stays alive and starts attacking
Otherwise he would've blocked my way, and his death animation is too long.
Arch-vile jump instead of waiting for lift.
I skipped taking a BFG here which made everything harder, but paid off.
Rocket boost by a cyber :)
*** Pain Elementals. No way to go around them of course.
This glide saves 1 second.
yeh, this map is boring.
Some wallruns.
Buttonpress disregarding Z-coordinate.
There is a trigger under the key which locks the room for a few seconds.
But you can avoid touching it.
Next map is the hardest in the run.
Double arch-vile jump here is frame precise and barons can block you since all actors are infinitely tall in doom.
Also AVs should be positioned very carefully. It took me 2 weeks to manipulate everything.
Standard button-is-still-under-the-floor-but-who-cares trick.
A glide. Skips half of map.
Another glide, a very hard one due to some technical reasons.
Same with this one. The whole map is skipped.
A keygrab.
And a glide.
This map features an extremly rare trick.
I don't have BFG nor plasmagun, so this is my best bet for killing barons in a narrow hallway.
Exposion deals the same damage regardless of height (but not other coordinates)
No need to conserve health.
Little manipulation :)
0-damage rocket boost
Finally, a BFG!
AV jump. Only this AV can be used.
Revenant's ball goes through invisible one-time teleporter line. I'm able to run to the exit door now without getting teleported outside.
This made the route possible and allowed to save 30+ seconds & pick up BFG.
Basic wallrunning, dodging and boosting here.
BFG turns this map into a breeze.
Rocketjump skips pressing a button.
No tricks in this short map.
Next map features the biggest amount of monster manipulation.
Boost by cyber's rocket.
Button lowers the wall.
I use AV-jump to skip waiting for it to lower completely.
Lots of fat mancubi here and another button.
AV jump is not direct because of baron in the water who would block me.
Start could be done better here.
BOOM
cheapest trap ever...
I can't start shooting earlier here or barons would block me.
Multi-AV deathjump with a buttonpress which ends the level.
I pick up some weapons while waiting for AV to end his burning sequence.
Button opens an area.
Stepping inside reveals another button.
I can run around while another area is getting opened.
Now the final button is revealed.
I shoot revenants while teleporter isn't accessible.
There is a trap in the blue key area, but it was skipped.
AV jump into cyber's pit.
Saves some time.
a keygrab
Double AV jump onto the pentagram, saves lots of time.
Button starts a lift, i do an AV jump meanwhile to shoot a rocket into the brain.
And it's done :) Thanks for watching.
