Any good eye application begins with eye primer.
Think of eye primer as creamy super glue for shadow,
it just prevents your shadow from creasing or fading throughout the day.
Use a soft brush of your choice to swirl a light shadow over the entire eye area.
This will brighten and create an even starting point for our more dramatic colors.
Look under this video for tips on how to choose the right shadow for you!
You guys have seen me do this next step a thousand times.
I'm laying down a base of charcoal cream shadow with a firm brush,
working upwards toward the crease in the corner of the eye.
This is gonna create an instantly dramatic look without any worry about fallout on your cheeks.
Going back to my crease brush, I'm swirling a gray shadow over the cream base that I just put down
and into the natural crease. This is going to add some contour and dimension to the eyes
and blend the edge between the light and dark colors.
To make this look instantly more dramatic, I'm smudging the same gray shadow
along the lower lash line using a small detail brush.
If you have smaller eyes, you might want to keep the color towards the outer third of the eye only.
None of MY runway starlets look complete without a healthy serving of eyeliner.
I'm tight lining the upper and lower inner rim of the eyes with a black gel liner
to create a crisp, thin line that looks clean and chic.
However, if you have smaller eyes, you might not want to put liner on the lower inner rim of the eyes.
False eyelashes? A celebrity must-have!
Apply a strip of super-full lashes by drawing a thin line of glue to the lash band and waiting 30 seconds.
They should just slide right into place. There's a few tips under this video for those of you having some application issues.
While the lash glue dries, you can define and shape the brows using brow powder and a brow brush.
The goal here isn't to darken your brows. Instead, you just want to fill any gaps and create a smooth, even shape.
Celebrities have celebrity BROWS!
To finish the eyes, we're gonna go back and apply a generous coat of jet black mascara to the upper and lower lashes.
Make sure to blend your lashes in with the false pair for a seamless, natural look.
And now for my favorite step. I'm creating that natural,"J.Lo," glowing skin
by mixing together a lightweight foundation and a liquid bronze luminizer.
I'm applying this with a broad foundation brush so that her skin looks flawless but not cakey.
IF you have rough skin or lots of blemishes, you might want to opt for a matte powder bronzer instead of the luminizer.
But otherwise, this combination is absolutely dynamite!
To reduce any unwanted shine, I'm using a fan brush to dust HD powder through the T-zone only;
leaving the cheeks natural.
Creating the perfect summer nude lip is all about layering.
First, I'm applying a mixture of two lip tars to the lips. One shade is a punchy coral; the other is kind of a pale nude.
To finish the look, I'm adding a shimmery bronze gloss just for some added dimension and shine!
