Hi everybody!
Check this out, there's something very interesting between the truck and…
see, there's a plastic pipe.
It's the guy's shower.
This is where he washes his hands and face and takes a shower.
I had the same thing in my previous car.
Very handy.
It's heating up all day,
there's about 50 litres of warm water,
maybe someone will use this idea.
We'll get closer and take another look.
There! See?
A very creative solution for a shower.
His one is short though while I had a two metres one, it was tucked behind the truck cab.
We are stuck in a traffic jam.
Looks like we are
not far from Vladimir.
We've passed Petushki, and have not been moving for 20-30 minutes.
There's a rut on the road.
And there’s a bus,
he doesn’t let the cars go on the roadside so that they don’t raise the dust.
There you go, we’ve gone past the traffic jam
and are driving along the ring road in Vladimir.
We got stuck for three hours,
wasted a lot of time, the road was under construction.
Here we are in Nishny Novgorod.
Right now we are unloading the trailer,
laying out the ground
for the tents.
Hi everybody! We've stopped by the buiding supplies market.
We ran short of materials for the podium.
Bought it.
We are making a very valuable contribution to this festival.
Here is how we’re going to transport it.
Check this out, our people at work.
We've got a group of five people here.
What are we having for lunch today?
We'll have a watermelon,
maybe we'll have a melon
and as usual our speciality is rice pilaf and boiled new potatoes.
Today my assistant is Masha.
Masha, selfie?
In about 40 minutes everything will be ready.
So…
the clock is ticking.
This is a preparation. We are putting up tents.
As always everything is in the trailer.
Over there you can see the stage.
This is a well known embankment,
a hero ship
that took part in the Great Patriotic war.
Up there is The Kremlin.
This is our venue.
It's night time. The concert is coming to an end.
The last band is playing.
How did you find out about this festival?
The promoters told me about it.
I get it. What is your name?
Anya.
Anya, nice to meet you. I'm Sergey Sapronov, Truck Driver's Diaries channel on Youtube.
How do you like this event?
Actually I'm suprised at the number of people here.
There are actors here, it's very nice, very safe,
the tents with the newest electronic gadgets are great.
Super!
Today we are getting ready, packing,
ramming down the stuff in the car, putting everything in place,
tightening the straps
and the new city awaits us – Ekaterinburg!
Once again. See you all in Ekaterinburg!
The guys from Nizhny Novgorod invited me to visit them.
Alright, what is your name?
My name is Zhenya.
I'm Zhenya. What's your last name?
Grimberg.
This is a small ground.
They are going to show us some drifting, right?
Yes, that's right.
Super!
Well done you guys!
We've got Dmitry from Nizhny Novgorod,
my good friend, who gave us an amazing tour.
Dima, move your hand!
See you all in Nizhny Novgorod.
Unbeliavable!
We’ve got an emergency.
A driver of this car, who is also taking part in this project
project was taken to hospital.
They are operating him now, appendicitis.
As they say, long haul drivers should support each other.
We are gonna help the guy move the car
to the loading area.
Tomorrow a new driver will come and
hopefully everything will be fine.
Unbeliavable! I've met someone
who is travelling from Riga to China.
Their route goes through here and there's a whole pack of cars.
There are british people, polish people,
germans, americans,
people from Indonesia.
Cool!
And they are all elderly people.
We will definitely catch up with them at the next stop.
If they are spending a night in Kazan, and Kazan is about one hundred kilometres away,
we will most likely see them again.
You woldn't believe that it's not September.
It's 12th, 13th of August.
So don't say that we filmed it last year.
I keep seeing comments that it was all filmed last year.
It's not last year, it's now.
We are leaving Tatarstan and entering Udmurtia,
the Udmurt Republic.
It was green, then red,
then I got the go-ahead.
The cargo weighed about 12 tons
but it was evenly distributed along the trailer.
I didn’t get whether our axle was damaged or not. But they told us that we could go.
We can move along now.
We are going to stop by the MAN service station, wash the car and the trailer.
They have a good car wash there. We're gonna
get washed and move the car to the parking area.
So in about 25 minutes we will take a rest.
We are entering the ground
where the tents will be put up.
Today the tents will be put up on the Ekaterinburg embankment.
The organizers gave a sign, off we go.
You wouldn't believe who is with us today.
