Hi, I'm Laura from PeterGlenn.com and this is the Obermeyer Nirvana jacket and
this is for toddler girls and it's one of Obermeyers new pieces for
2012 which they've done in a bunch of bright colors so this is a
really fun jacket for little kids
... this jacket the first thing you notice when you walk up to that is how
striking as the colors are really really nice and it's also a technical too for
skiing this jacket is waterproof ... you'll probably be surprised by that
because the fabric is so incredibly soft
it is an ECOlicious fabric which means it's made with uh...
a little more than half recycled polyester so you can feel good about that
too...
and the waterproofing on this is 5 K so your child is going to be able to go
out in the snow roll around in it and they are gonna stay nice and dry
The insulation on this jacket is really warm Obermeyer put
220g through the core here
you don't find much more than so this jacket is going to keep them nice and warm
and they lightened up a little bit in the sleeves on
that's going to help reduce the bulk through the sleeves so they're going to be able to
move more easily there not gonna feel bulky at all which kids dont like.
Another really cool feature on this is the as is the I-Grow sleeves.
uh... obviously every parent's nightmare is when a child grows out of their ski
stuff too quickly and you have to buy it all over again
and these actually have a brightly-colored seam on the inside of
cuff here.
It's easy to see and when your child grows all you do this pullout that seam and
the cuffs lenghtens by about one and a half ... so instead of
having to buy new gear you'll get another season out of it which obviously
everybody appreciates.
There are bunch of different features on this jacket i'm first of all pockets
because you know kids have to have snacks and things like that to stay happy out there.
so there are three pockets on the front here and they all zipper
and there's also a little
uh... elastic pocket on the inside where you can stick things inside
The hood on this jacket is actually removable ... some kids really don't like
the hood they don't like it up on their neck so if your child is like that you can
take the hood off and keep it makes them happy
and in these also have something really cool called alligator clips
so i'm sure everyone is familiar
with the old mittens that would go with a string all the way through the back of
the jacket kind of a mess....
on the alligator clips here
are on an elastic piece of fabric and they actually clip onto the cuff of a mitten or glove
any mitten or glove
and they hold it attached to the jacket attacking here
that's going to help to prevent gloves being dropped from the ski lift ...
if your child takes them off when they're going through theit pockets to get their
snacks. The fit on this jacket is really cute and oBERMEYER does give their little girl
stuff just a tiny bit of a shaped seam but nothing too crazy
very comfortable
the thing you should know is that typically with kids ski wear you order
by age
and so
you know it a two-year-old generally is gonna be a size two a three year old generally
size three there's a size with measurements you should definitely take a look at
that because that's the most accurate way to fit and obviously if you happen to
know that your child runs particularly
small or tall for their age then you may want to consider adjusting there.
But overall you gonna order their age and with I-Grow cuffs you get a lot of
flexibility so shouldn't be a problem and your jacket should definitely last long
enough to pass down to the younger siblings
Thanks for watching and check out PeterGlenn.com for all your favorite
Obermeyer ski wear.
