Ok. Now, we've got to center a much larger piece of clay. This requires a little bit
more strength and technique. But, still you're using your body weight. You're not using your
arms to do this. Again, you just want to get the clay wet. Push it towards itself with
your right hand doing the majority of the work. And, then push it down. Try to keep
your left hand as stable as possible.
And, you want to make yourself just a little mound to start with. And, once you've got
your mound you pinch in a little portion of it. And, this is going to be what we're going
to throw from. And, you do everything just the same. You go in, you pull out, you pull
up. It's just like throwing on the wheel with an individual ball of clay. You still want
to give it a little bit of an undercut. And, then once you're done with the little shape
that you've wanted to make you just cut it with the wire tool like that. Dry your hands
off. And, you can pick it right up and go set it somewhere to dry to work on it later.
