[00:00:00.35] Before we begin layout in earnest,
there's two quick options to check.
[00:00:04.36] One of them is a big time saver
and the other, personal decision.
[00:00:09.14] Clicking over to the Options Tab,
at the bottom is the Book Settings button.
[00:00:14.33] I do recommend that you use
the Auto Layout Pages option.
[00:00:18.40] This means that as you start to drop in pictures,
the page layout will adjust
[00:00:23.33] a bit to match the photo.
[00:00:25.46] If you have a horizontal, or landscape picture,
or a portrait picture that's more vertical,
[00:00:30.28] the layout will adjust
so it doesn't perform an irregular crop;
[00:00:35.53] I think this is a good thing
and it will speed up the layout process.
[00:00:40.48] The other option that you have
is putting an Apple logo at the end of the book.
[00:00:46.54] If we go to the back cover,
when the book is printed it will put
[00:00:51.04] an Apple logo on the cover itself.
[00:00:52.86] Generally speaking, I turned that off.
[00:00:56.37] Let's just do that and click OK.
[00:00:58.82] This is just a matter of personal decisions.
[00:01:01.42] I don't mind the logo,
but I generally prefer minimal, clean designs.
[00:01:05.86] And as such, I don't put logos in,
just like I don't wear shirts with logos,
[00:01:10.70] although, some of you do. It doesn't matter.
[00:01:13.59] If you want the logo, leave it checked.
[00:01:15.69] If you want it off, turn it off.
