(Open Segment) Alright so I'm sitting here with Nathan Anthony Carter. Nathan tell me a little bit about
when you first started your interest in film acting
yeah yeah, well I uhgm
Kind of evaluated all these other actors
took a leap of faith and I've been
-in and out of plays and stuff (lol) -uh, just plays?
Oh, yeah yeah, Bloodwood. Originally the title was "Hunting the Unknown"
I had a great time filming- I think that's the most awesome thing about 'besides the magic of lights' and everything
is that, you go in
and it's a lot of, fun (for people).
now who produced Bloodwood?
oh, that would be Arcadian Entertainment. Is that local to Northern California? Sure the Central Valley, Northern California.
Everybody works in and out of Hollywood with a few different artists.
So, what we're going to do right here is take a look at a trailer from Bloodwood, umgh, just to give them an idea of what we're talking about
we'll be back right after this [ThatJack™] (Commercial) Voice: "You're Right".
Surviving the plane crash was the easy part
Surviving the plane crash was the easy part. But
the next six weeks.
Ten of us survived the crash. Only one of us got off that island alive.
I've also seen the dark side of
nature. it's got
nothing on the dark side of man.
(fire crackles)
TO BE CONTINUED... (bass echo sound)
(End Of Commercial) I know there was a period of time when you did a T-Mobile; Google.
Tell me a little bit about that.
No. Yeah yeah, you wouldn't believe the aspirations you get out of everybody that you work with. You get make up
people. If it weren't for the crew- you don't have anything
this this thirty-seconds
I well originally I
yeah I went down in front of a bunch of competition(s) for that.
-Where did you try out for this at? -A whole bus
San Francisco. Is that NCA's? Pocono?
mm hmmm, yeaah uh-
The Academy of the Arts University. Through a one time audition. Against a
barricade of buses coming in
from University students. I went down there I also did a little
philanthropy and went out and sort of like
-gave blankets and things -So, what I really like about your commercial is the humor and the way T Mobile was able to-
take a look, we're going to show you right- now. Take a look at T-Mobile Google Commercial
starring Nathan Carter
hi
you look cute
mm, (naughtily) yeah
Ohhhhh, Niiiice.
There's No Mistake About It. "Introducing T Mobile G1 now with Google"
Oh now I know you know in today's world social media is taking over
everything from facebook™, twitter™, that kind of stuff-
how do people find you?
They find me, umm, by the three popular
uh, social networks
Myspace, we know is like (makes a snarky sound)
So, is it like NathanAnthonyCarter.Com, is it like
gmail
and GetMoviesHere.Com
What are the best social networking sites that you can tell kids or people out there who might be interested-
"Look at it about this industry"!!?
Yeah kids love it!!
But we have to be careful, even a picture with our cell phones that can be GPS tracked.
I would say facebook™, linkedin™ when you're a teenager
and getting up there into trusting yourself, your own dimensions
angles and bringing that to a lot of people.. to people who are
really responsive to your growth- discovering (Nathan your glasses are crooked, it's not just me)
I'd say facebook™
linkedin™, and twitter™!
-okay -I'm on twitter™ -"The Perfect Circle", What is the perfect circle/ "The Perfect Circle"?
"The Perfect Circle" is one of my-
my newww
angles
I'm trying to throw together
a movie about adversity, love and companionship. - "I started out with a Horror though, so" "Uh, we're doing a 360˚"
So, is this going to be a Comedy?
yeahhhh mm yeah, its gonna have Comedy, Romance, and love
and this will be your own work. this is something you're writing, you're producing- and we're in just the
incubated stage right now right?
yeah I wrote it. yeah.
so that's- you have a five year' uh, usually, demo- (corrects himself) area of wanting
to get your film out, it's like, the first year is pre-production and like
four years of filming
we've got- we're in development and that comes before pre-production
okay so before we go
I just want everyone out there to recognize that
once you dip your feet in and once you feel like you've made some
accomplishments
is that the time where you are liberated
and
you have permission to wear your shades
(with laughing)
I've only had a few people that wear shades to one of my interviews but they are the men, they are the ones to go to- -[Nathan Anthony Carter] They are the men
listen we'll be right back with That Jack and Nathan Carter. We'll be right back. (Cut to)
