>> Today we'll go over how
to clear your Internet browser's cache and cookies.
Sometimes sites take a long time to load or won't load at all,
or sometimes you won't be able to sign in even
if you have the correct information.
Well, clearing your browser's cache
and cookies can help with this problem.
Clearing the cache and cookies can be unique to each browser.
We'll go over some of the most used ones: Internet Explorer,
Google Chrome, Mozilla and Safari.
If you use Internet Explorer you need to find your Tools menu.
It's usually at the top left, near the left or right corners.
Select it and from the dropdown menu click on Internet Options.
This will open up a window with many tabs and preferences.
In the browsing history section of the first place click delete.
This will open up more windows with several checkboxes.
Click the-- check delete temporary Internet files
and cookies.
Everything else uncheck.
Click the delete button at the bottom
of the page and let it process.
Finally, close the windows and retry the site you were
on in the first place.
If you use Google Chrome, you'll click on the wrench icon
at the top right corner of the screen.
It will bring down a dropdown menu, click on Settings.
In the new window go to History at the far left of the screen.
Next you'll click on clear browsing data at the top.
This opens up one last window.
Select the beginning of time and check empty the cache
and delete cookies and other site and plug-in data.
Let it finish then close the Settings and windows
and retry the site you were originally on.
If you use Mozilla Firefox you need to click
on the tools in the menu bar.
If the menu bar isn't there, you can activate it
by right clicking on an empty area under the Address bar
and selecting Menu bar.
Then from the Tools, select Clear Recent History.
You can also press control shift and delete keys to bring
up the Clear Recent History window.
Now select everything from the time range
and check the two boxes that say cache and cookies.
Uncheck the other boxes then hit the clear now button.
After that close the window
and retry the site you were originally on.
If you use Safari, you will first need
to open up the browser.
Once you are there you will need to either click Tools
on the left menu bar or click
on the gear icon on the right toolbar.
Then you should select Reset Safari from the dropdown.
Once you have done this please choose what history
and other elements you want to clear.
After this you will want to click the reset button.
From here, you will want to exit the browser completely
and relaunch it.
