The Blues is a style of music that was created from African Americans. When there came over
to the United States and worked a slaves in the plantations in the early 1900's. It is
a form of emotional expression created from field hollers, work songs and ring shouts
that were used and evolved into a twelve bar form known as the Blues. This Blues is started
the evolution of Jazz music and is still around today. Let?s look at the basic cord changes
in the Blues. We have the one cord, four chord, one, one for the first four bars. The second
four bars we have four cord, four chord, one, one. For then for the third four bars we have
five, four and one, one. These are the basic cord changes for the Blues.
