But what are people saying about the Marshall Major Headset after they have already owned
and used it? Well, Reviewer #1 says,
"... they are perhaps the best pair of headphones you're going to find for $100 bucks." He says
that he has tested them with his iPhone 3GS,
Macbook Pro, and a 12 channel Behringer mixer he uses for
his video game and movie audio system, and he found that the
"Sound quality and quantity are on par with the Monster Beats Solo and the Skull Candy
Aviators." Initially he was surprised at how tiny the
ear cups are, but after using them for a while he grew to appreciate the "...small form factor."
He liked the feature of the cable that is coiled for about half its length,
But he was especially impressed with the "VERY high quality" jack with its easy-gripping
texture and spring coil sheating into the connector.
Reviewer #2 says, "I rarely write reviews for anything, but
I'm so pleased and impressed with these headphones that I felt that I owe it to Marshall to do
this." He says that he was completely "floored" by
the power that the headset puts out, and says, "I'm not talking about loudness, I'm talking
about POWER." Reviewer #3 says,
"These headphones have the best sound quality I have ever heard."
He calls the sound "...simply amazing," and says the headphones "...feel really solid,"
and he likes that the "springy-stretch" cable feels a bit thicker than those of most headphones,
and he likes the way they fold into a compact "blob" for easy storage.
But what he doesn't like is that they feel uncomfortable when he wears them with his
glasses on, And they make his ears feel hot.
Reviewer #4 says, "I fell in love with these phones. They look
great, feel great, and SOUND great! Good for ALL types of listening."
Reviewer #5 says, "Can't fault these headphones...quality product
and quality sound!" And Reviewer #6 says,
"Excellent build quality and the sound is amazing for the price- more expensive makes
are inferior in both respects. I am very pleased with the purchase."
Reviewer #7 comments that the Marshall Major is
"Terrific for listening to music" with a "Decent tonal range" which is neither too
bass heavy nor lacking in bass. He also describes them as
"Very comfortable to wear," and even says that it has the "Perfect cord
length for sitting at a computer." Since he wrote his review after only owning
his Marshall headset for a week he cannot say much about their durability, but he gives
his opinion that they "definitely seem substantial and well-made,"
And with regard to the appearance, he calls them "...the coolest looking headphones you
could possibly find." Reviewer # 8 appreciates the sturdy construction
and the compact size, calling them "...smaller than you'd think,"
And says that they are "well built headphones, made from sturdy materials."
He also says that "They look fantastic," and calls the sound quality
better than that of the Panasonic over-ear headphones.
Reviewer #9 says "It's an excellent headphone overall..."
that is "...very beautiful" and has "...great sound."
This reviewer says that he wishes they were a bit larger because his headset becomes uncomfortable
after a couple of hours of use, And he is also disappointed that they came
without a carrying case, so that he had to buy one separately.
Reviewer #10 says that he is "Overall very happy with this product" because
of their "Durable design, comfortable and enjoyable
listening." and appreciates their "Sleek design,"
"good acoustics" and says that "...the microphone and remote
work very well." In his opinion they are better than Beats
Solos, Better than Apple Ear Buds,
And comparable to a set of Logitech headphones that he uses.
This reviewer says that the Marshall Major headset is not for the person who is looking
for bass-heavy headphones, but says that "Overall I would recommend these to anyone
that enjoys comfort, style and good acoustics" Reviewer #11 calls the Marshall Headphones
Major "Acoustic music heaven"
because "The mid range as well as high range are phenomenally crisp"
and also says that "They are a really good looking pair of headphones."
He does complain that the headset can get a little uncomfortable on his ears after several
hours of use, but he still affirms, "I highly recommend these for anyone looking
for affordable headphones that are uniquely designed with great attention to detail."
And finally, reviewer #12 calls the Marshall Major Headphones the
"Best earphones I ever had" because of their "Amazing sound quality" with
"...very clear highs" "...well-defined mids" and
"...and earth-shaking lows." and he appreciates that
"They can also get very loud without distorting." He also comments that
"The noise isolation is great, especially since it doesn't require batteries."
He does complain, as others also do, that after several hours of use they can become
uncomfortable because of their snug fit, and you have to avoid using them in the rain
or cold or getting them wet because the moisture will ruin the leather paddings on the ear
cups, But in summary he says, "If you love good
sound, these are the earphones for you." I hope that this video has been helpful to
