Hi, I'm Karina Fraley for Expert Village and today we're talking about little league. Now
if your child is playing in the minor league, you should know that there are 6 innings or
the time limit, whichever comes first. The time limit for the minor's division is no
new inning can start after one hour and 50 minutes have been played on a game. The minor
division requires that there are 8 players to 8 roster players to start a game and 9
to actually play the game but you can borrow a player from the farm. Everyone bats and
every child has to sit at least one time before anybody can sit 2 times. So that's actually,
it's nice and it's fair, it's kind of a nice way to introduce the game to your child. Again,
these are just some of the basics of the minor league and that's for younger children. Of
course everything changes as the divisions progress as the age group progresses. So be
sure that you look into the rules and the regulations of the division that your child
is playing in.
