Greetings to all the viewers.
Lets follow me, Pjoe to take a walk around Muri bei Bern.
Almost all neighbourhood here have some kind of green areas for nature or agriculture.
With proper planning, human and nature can coexist together.
What you are seeing here are plant branches covered by tiny bits of ice.
There are not snow. All those ice coming from heavy fog last night.
These heavy fog contains moisture and freeze when they touched those branches.
As the evidence, on my side you can see that the grass is green, not white covered by snow,
After finish walking on the grass
Let's go down to the ravine.
Can I go through this way?
Oh no! Better to go this way!
This is one of my favourite spot.
Water that coming from above fall down to this ravine heading to river
and creating a mini waterfall.
And you can observe some ice hanging surround the water.
At the moment there are not much yet ice, in few weeks hopefully we will see much of this ice.
We are now on the river bank called Aare.
This river originally from Alps, accumulated in lake of Thun
From lake of Thun, it flows passing capital of Switzerland, Bern,
and later passing through Germany.
The bridge behind me connecting to Belp Airport which is only 1km from here.
During summer, there are many people swim in this river, almost each year took some lives.
Once I tried to swim here, and almost got drowned.
Since then I never swim here again.
For the locals, this river is perfect for recreation, such as swimming and other activities.
Sometimes you can see people fishing here, but I never see any fish swimming in this river!
During summer as well, this place are ideal for barbecuing.
Here you can see the barbecue place, oh the the grill now is disappeared!
The woods are provided for free. They usually originating from this place as well.
Thats all for today. Thank you for accompanying me, Pjoe taking some fresh air around Muri bei Bern.
Hope that you can join me again, in another places and circumstances.
Thank you!
