Hi! Martha McCue for expertvillage.com back with the crochet. I have chained five, I’m
going to do a half-double, yarn over once there, sorry I messed that up, I didn’t
yarn over twice. It is my mistake, pardon me girls, we all make them. Instead of going
and yarning again that would be a treble, I am gong to pull it through which makes that
a half of a crochet. I hope that makes sense. Let us try it again. Yarn over twice. Go through
your stitch, pick up, you pull through two and you are going to pull through all of them.
This is where you are get your half double. If you pull through all three of them, if
you do it three times that is a treble. I will show you in just a sec. And that was
a treble. The stitches are strange sometimes I will admit and sometimes I go what am I
doing and but the books or your patterns will be specific if it is a new type of stitch
they will tell you. They will have a little parenthesis to explain the stitch and how
to do it
and somebody comes up with a new stitch everyday I do believe there. When you are doing something
like this, you could make some very beautiful projects. This is a little southern belle
she has her slip and her bloomers and granddaughters love them and this is a lady from Savannah,
so see with crochet you can make some beautiful beautiful projects.
