Hey guys, Kiel King here with Kings of Fitness. We’re hitting the gym on this Sunday morning.
I wanted to bring you exactly what we are doing. I’ve really been big on this calisthenics
kick once I met Jay Maryniak at the CrossFit gym the other weekend. So I want to make some
workouts, put them together, work within some of the progressions of the stronger lifts,
the deadlifts, the front squats, chest press, and push press. This will shape my body along
with the other people that we are working with, and then put together a conditioning
routine as well. So that’s what we’re trying to bring you today, we want to give
you a little inside look to how we’re training ourselves along with when we go out there
and check out the other types of fitness. Follow us along, we’re going to give you
a little bit of shots from the deadlift progression. We’re going to start off with 70% working
our way up to 85% of our 1 rep maxes today. Then we’re going to break into this crazy
conditioning routine to really push that calisthenics kick! So like I said, enjoy, watch, follow,
and if you like the video, if you like what you’re seeing, by all means, click that
little button below and subscribe to this channel. I look forward to showing you what we got.
Alright, so Kiel and I just finished going
through the strength portion of that workout with our deadlifts. Now we are going to get
into our conditioning portion so that we can really work on our calisthenics and really
controlling our body weight. For that section we are going to be doing pull ups, chin ups,
dips, jump squats, push ups, crunches, burpees, and jump rope.
Alright guys, 3 rounds down. As you can see from the sweat on me and the sweat on Lauren,
that was no joke. That was probably one of the hardest conditioning rounds I’ve actually
ever done. How’d you feel about that? Pretty tough, still out of breathe. So, as you can
see, we’ve even tried wall inversions afterwards. Tried to get some shoulder push ups in there,
some handstand push ups in to see if we even got any strength left in us. So enjoy those
parts, we hope you enjoyed that part of the video as well. Like I said, if you enjoyed
this, if you enjoy these workouts, like and also comment. Give us some comments, let us
know what you’d like to see. We are doing our best. It usually takes from beginner to
getting to those guys flipping over bars, like Jay Maryniak (@JTM_fit on Instagram),
you see that kind of skill that takes years to build up. About a year to be able to really
control your body weight, if you work it hard enough. Right now you’re seeing session
1, this was the first time I was really going at it. A work in progress just like I hope
everybody else is. Got anything to add to that? No, just keep on following us, to kind
of check on our progress, see how we’re doing. SUBSCRIBE to the channel! We appreciate
it. Thanks guys, mahalo!
