Last week I missed a shot on a really big buck and I haven't seen it since.
My patience is running out, but that's the way hunting is.
The only thing I can do now is keep trying hard and hopefully have some luck during these few days I have left.
Armando, are you going to tell us something?
Well it was quite a challenge.
The first shot I made I was with ***, and I missed.
I shot too high... At 25 yards.
And then, I saw the buck two more times before today.
One time I didn't make a shot I don't know why... And the second time I opened my bow and it got scared and left.
And I made a quick shot today. That's why I hit the belly, but the arrow was able to penetrate well enough.
And this hunt was also challenging because I spent two complete days in the ground blind.
I ate breakfast, lunch and dinner there. 10 or 11 hours sitting down.
Actually yesterday when I opened my bow, it was 1 o'clock in the afternoon. And the buck showed up to feed at that time.
So that's why I never saw it in the mornings or afternoons.
